On April 11, 2018, Francis Howell High School celebrated 45 student-athletes who will further their education and sport at the collegiate level. It’s a day to remember not only for the athletic and academic careers of these students, but also a day to remember how a school can rally together behind an ideal – of teamwork and sportsmanship.
The college signings of 45 Vikings means 33 percent of the school’s senior student-athletes who were involved in a sport at FHHS will be competing at the college level. To put that in perspective, the national average is just 7.4 percent.
These student-athletes have not only excelled in their sport, but they also hold a 3.55 cumulative GPA over the course of their high school careers. Congratulations to the following Vikings:
