Protecting Your Family Against the Flu
Cold and flu season is here. Please consult with your child’s physician to find out when flu shots will be available for your family. Students with chronic health conditions, including asthma, and those who are immunocompromised are highly encouraged to obtain a flu shot early. Click here to review more information about how to tackle the flu.
In an effort for students and parents to communicate with school administration regarding potential threats to school safety, the district has set up an e-mail address at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This will allow anyone to report a threat or unsafe situation to a school official 24/7. If you have any questions, please contact our principal, Dr. Dave Wedlock.
The original Francis Howell High School was founded in the late 1800's and has grown to a suburban high school steeped in rich tradition and Viking pride. FHHS has an exceptional student population of approximately 1851, and we have a dedicated staff of approximately 152 that provide a quality education to each student.
The staff believes that all students want to learn and can learn. We realize it is our responsibility to provide each student with quality learning opportunities that will prepare each for their chosen career path after high school. FHHS is a community of learners-students and staff. We are always improving our practices, so that every student has the ability to maximize their learning potential.
FHHS is a great place to learn and teach. We believe that we have the best students and families in the district, and we welcome the opportunity to work with both.
