COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Foods/Nutrition I class is designed to help you with nutrition and wellness through hands on activities.  Emphasis will be placed on personal food choices, the relationship between nutrition and wellness, etiquette, food selection, meal planning, food preparation skills and careers in the food industry.  Additionally, time, materials and facility management, decision making/problem solving skills and work ethic skills will be emphasized.
