Spanish I – Class Rules

ElectronicDevices:     Any electronic device must be off in this classroom or it will be confiscated. (silent mode is not off)  The student will have to get the device from his/her principal at the end of the school day. (If parents need to reach you, they can call the school phone, not your cell phone.)

  1. Be respectful of others, yourself, and school property.  Treat others as you want them to treat you.
  2. Bring all materials to class every day.
  3. Stay in your seat the entire class period unless you have permission otherwise.
  4. No talking during instructional part of the period, unless given permission by the teacher.  If you have a question, raise your hand and wait to be called on.
  5. No sleeping, reading, doing other homework, etc during instructional time.
  6. Follow directions the first time I give them, i.e., Pay attention!!!!
  7. No profanity or degrading put downs.
  8. No food, candy, or drinks (except water) are allowed in the classroom.
  9. Be on time to class.

 

The first time a student decides to break one of the rules listed above, he/she will receive a verbal warning.  The second time, he/she will receive a detention.  On the third instance the student will be sent to the principal’s office. If a student decides to consistently break the rules, the consequences will be accelerated for that student.

 

The teacher reserves the option to add, change, or delete any rules at any time.  Any verbal changes made are to be followed in the same manner as the written rules or students will suffer the consequences of their actions.
