Francis Howell High School History
The original Francis Howell High School was founded in the late 1800's and has grown to a suburban high school steeped in rich tradition and Viking pride. FHHS has an exceptional student population of approximately 1851, and we have a dedicated staff of approximately 152 that provide a quality education to each student.
The staff believes that all students want to learn and can learn. We realize it is our responsibility to provide each student with quality learning opportunities that will prepare each for their chosen career path after high school. FHHS is a community of learners-students and staff. We are always improving our practices, so that every student has the ability to maximize their learning potential.
FHHS is a great place to learn and teach. We believe that we have the best students and families in the district, and we welcome the opportunity to work with both.
