Francis Howell High’s award winning Limelight Theatre proudly presents “Check Please!” by Jonathan Rand. This is a one-night presentation on Dec. 8, 2017, at Francis Howell High Auditorium, located at 7001 Hwy. 94 South, St. Charles, Missouri. The doors open at 6:30 PM, with the curtain at 7:00. But the performance will be highlighted by Holiday charity, as Limelight Theatre will host a silent auction for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, as well as a toy drive for Toys for Tots.
Jonathan Rand is an American playwright whose plays are ranked among the most produced in North American high schools, having been performed in all 50 states in the US. With all the excitement fit into just one act, “Check Please!” is a play about blind dating and the crazy turn of events that can and do happen. People are unique and you never know what you’re going to get, especially on a blind date. A raging kleptomaniac who likes your watch, your grandmother's bridge partner who just loves to talk, or a mime who won’t sit down just might be the person walking up to your table. Could these dates get any worse? Yes, yes they can!
Tickets are $5 per person and are available at the door.
A silent auction will be held with the proceeds going to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
New toys will also be collected for Toys for Tots.
